Charming Riad, located just outside Bab Kasbah in a peaceful part of the city. The owner and staff are lovely and helpful. We had a restful stay overlooking their beautiful courtyard. Dinner and breakfast are exceptional in a beautifully decorated restaurant. Great wine offerings and menu. Can’t wait to visit and stay here again.

They have the worst catering service and they don't care about anyone.

My wife and I booked Riad Mokhtar for our wedding weekend, and stayed with several friends visiting from the UK and France. We couldn't have enjoyed it more - the warmth of the owners, the beauty of the rooms and the delicious breakfast were all beyond excellent. We also organised a pre-wedding reception on the roof, in which the food and service were top quality (the pizzas here are amazing) and everything ran perfectly. We stayed in the senior suite, which is comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished. Riad Mokhtar as a whole is located perfectly on the periphery of the kasbah, but down a quiet street. For a mix of contemporary and traditional Tangier, at a fair price and with excellent hospitlaity, there really is no better option than Riad Mokhtar.

Very beautiful Riad. Very well situated in the Kasbah of Tangier with a beautiful rooftop. To my surprise the restaurant of the Riad has no morrocan specialty, only French food yet it was delicious! The service is great, very present and willing to serve! The owner is also present (we had a lovely chat). Highly recommend it :)

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Tangier. The staff and the manager were all wonderful and incredibly helpful. It is a boutique hotel with a flash of modern and classic Moroccan style. Any problem we had was quickly resolved and they went out of the way to help us with everything from a room upgrade to helping us find an ATM. Our breakfast was not included, but it was more than worth it. The room was beautiful, private, and cozy. It was a wonderful experience!

Absolutely stunning property with very professional staff. A lot of impressive details, feeling really treated there. We liked the service and overall our stay in this hotel! This isn't our first time staying at one of the leading hotels of the world, and I must say, the Riads are simply beautiful. The staff here are amazing. It was our sunset time and they went the extra step to send some Moroccan mint tea and Wine to the the rooftop of the riad, which was really spectacular view of Tangier! The quality of the staff and facilities were absolutely top rate with elevator and slippers which most riads in Morocco didn't provide. Breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day with a selection of hot and cold items and fresh juices. Special thanks to the Manager, Yassine who treat us extremely well and still give advise even after days we leave this property! Hope to stay here again when I'm in Morocco!

Riad Mokhtar is a lovely petit hotel which belongs to a dear French friend of ours, a real gem located a few meters away from the entrance of the kasbah. Thanks to the management of Julie and Guillaume the hotel has also two restaurants and this is unique for a petit hotel. One restaurant in the patio with international cuisine where each dish has some unique extra flavor and the decor is fabulous... surrounded by plants and the open sky. The second petit resto on the amazing terraces overlooking the old city, drinks and an easier menu with the best pizzas ever. We actually live in Tangier, we often go to Riad Mokhtar and send people and no one has ever complained. We are not pleased at all to read those negative comments because mistakes can happen but they should be shared with the management first. Obviously this didn't happen.
