Riad Dar Awil

Everything was perfect. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was very complete. And Zacaria was very kind and attentive.

Room is very large and clean and even has an outdoor sitting area over looking the inside of the Riad! The included breakfast was amazing, and prepared fresh in front of me! Hot water, toilet paper, super nice host, and a stones throw to the Main Street in the Medina and just a 8 minute walk or so to the beach. It had everything I was looking for in a Riad in Essaouira! I will be coming back next time I visit!

Everything was just perfect! Really delicious and big breakfast, spacious and very clean room and friendly staff, especially Zak who always wants you to be comfortable and gives you tips for the city, buying stuff and organizes everything for you. We highly recommend this accommodation, excellent price-performance-ratio!

I am going out of my way to write this review because omar provided us with the most exceptional service I have ever had not just in Morocco, but anywhere in the world. The riad itself is beautiful, clean and central to everything in essouaria. However what made this riad exceptional was the little details of service. For example we had fresh espresso given to us multiple times for no reason ptjer than that we had come to use the internet. Additionally, we were leaving at 5 am and omar somehow managed to have a candle lit breakfast ready for us when we got up. Thank you very much for an incredible stay Dar Awil

A truly highly recommended hotel! Super friendly staff, clean rooms, and a delicious breakfast. It's hard to believe such a beautiful riad exists in the area. The staff is incredibly attentive and fulfills every wish. I've rarely stayed in such a pleasant atmosphere at a hotel. Absolutely fantastic!

Lovely riad near the center of Essaouira. Comfortable and well-equipped room. The bathroom is a little small and lacks ventilation, but it's well-appointed. You can sunbathe on the deckchairs or watch the sunrise or sunset on the rooftop terrace accessible from the third floor. A generous and delicious breakfast is served on the ground floor in the stylishly designed kitchen.

We stayed there last year. The location is ideal, and the host is French and charming. He'll be happy to give you tips for your stay. The rooms are very clean, modern, and comfortable. P.S.: Special mention for the breakfast and the peaceful atmosphere. I recommend it 1000%! ☀️

We had an excellent stay of almost a week at Dar Awil. Hervé gave us a fabulous welcome; he was very helpful and attentive, always offering good advice and eager to hear our recommendations for future guests. The breakfasts were generous and varied, the room spacious and quiet, and his team (especially Ayoub) took excellent care of us. Thank you again!
