Riad Carina

We had to book late at night that riad because our previous one was a huge disappointment. Riad Carina was a big surprise for us after an exhausting trip back from Sahara. Said the guy who welcomed us in the lobby is a really good person and a professional! Room was really good, pool at the roof superb, breakfast was amazing! Definitely recommend it! Thank you Said and Riad Carina! :)

Perfect location. We spent one night there (large ground-floor room). Very good value for money. Very friendly staff. Absolutely nothing negative to say :)

This Riad is in a narrow alley which means a taxi cannot get there, not ideal if you have lots of luggage. Inside it has two courtyards and rooms on two floors. The terrace is nice and indeed you may hear the storks from the nearby Badii Palace but the pool (3x4m) is rather disappointing. It’s ok if you want to cool off after a hot day but no swimming is possible. Rooms vary a lot in size and furniture. Some bathrooms have no window and the moisture became a problem (see photo of the shower in a „deluxe room“) leaving a musty smell in the room. Breakfast was not exceptional but good. All in all this riad is maybe a bit expensive for what it offers.

A beautiful riad with lovely rooms. Said made us feel very welcome and special requests, like a very early breakfast on our morning of departure, were no problem. The lamb tajine was delicious. Highly recommended.

A magnificent riad, understated yet elegant. Refined, modern decor that still retains its Moroccan character. I loved everything about it! Excellent location, peaceful in this bustling city. Warm and efficient welcome. Terrace with a small pool and...a stork... Highly recommended!

We're leaving today after spending six days in Marrakech, staying at Riad Carina. We wholeheartedly recommend this riad!! It's peaceful and just a 10-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna square. We loved the decor and the cleanliness. Our room was upstairs, next to the pool: absolutely perfect!! And above all, a huge thank you to the entire team, especially Saïd and Abdul. They go above and beyond, so kind and welcoming, it's truly wonderful. Not to mention the excellent value for money. Thank you again.

A superb little riad in a peaceful setting. We stayed as a couple at the end of July 2023. An authentic and simple riad. The property is well located, right next to the Bahia Palace and a few minutes' walk from the bustling medina. Impeccably clean, the room was simple but comfortable in a charming and quiet setting. Said is incredibly attentive, and his kindness is matched only by the pleasure of staying in this riad, which offers unbeatable value for money. Breakfast is simple but satisfying before exploring the city. Jemaa el-Fna square is an 8-minute walk away. The setting is very calm and relaxing, and the staff are lovely. Don't hesitate to book your taxi back to the airport; the price is reasonable. Storks nest right next to the roof, between two mosques. It's very peaceful. A fantastic stay in every way. And Said is a sweetheart...
