La Tangerina

A small, timeless hotel. Absolutely fabulous. Perfect in every way.

This place is a gem in Tanger's Kasbah. We were in the smallest room, which was anyway big enough for the two of us. The staff was very kind and the room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast is gorgeous. And the atmosphere is almost magical, it feels like being back to the beginning of the 20th century!

A beautiful boutique hotel in an excellent location. The staff were very helpful before and during our stay. Breakfast was included and very good. We made reservations for a private dinner one night and it was delicious!

The breakfast served here is delicious and a bargain. The service is great and everyone is very helpful. Room 10 is the last room on the top floor. It's spacious with its own private balcony. If you go there off season in the winter months it can get pretty windy up there and the space heater provided takes a while to warm up the room.

Very fine hotel, the high rating and reputation is fully deserved. You will find some beautifully restored antique furniture in your room and scattered throughout the hotel. Even the toilet in my room spiked my attention. It was manufactured by Shanks & Co, a British company that ceased operating in 1961! Friendly staff, good location, and beautiful view over the Strait of Gibraltar from the roof terrace.

One of the most unique experiences you will ever have. From the time you step in the door, you are treated with such hospitality and decadence. The rooms layouts are all unique, the homemade bread and jams are amazing, and they have the best tea that I have had in any of my travels around the world, from Asia, Europe, and Africa. Treat yourself if you are in Tangier. You will be glad that you did.

The spa has no toilet/ changing room etc. So have to sort yourself out whilst the staff sit in from of you in a very small space (chatting and watching YouTube videos…. ) Ie not v relaxing
