Really great place to stay, we loved the themed rooms

We came at the Dar Chams Tanja for a long weekend in October, 2025. The hotel arranged for our transportation from Tangier Airport for a very good price, the driver was waiting for us at the gate. The rooms might just be the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever been to - the cleaning lady is lovely and comes every day. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and there is a lift. The view is fantastic and the bar upstairs very high quality for a reasonable price. The other staff are also very friendly, the waiter Soufiane gave us great recommendations for the city center. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Everyone here was very helpful, arranged drivers and made good recommendations for where to eat. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Breakfast on the terrace is just delightful, with a gorgeous view of the city. The 360 degree nighttime view is even more impressive. This is a small, locally owned boutique hotel, which has recently been beautifully remodeled. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to others.

Important information :very expensive

Dominic and Michelle were very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay here! While we only had one full day in Tangier, we were given a great recommendation to do a taxi tour of the city. While this might not sound great at first glance, there is SO much more in Tangier than the old Medina and the legation building. The service and staff is top notch, breakfast was perfect, and the detail in the room is impeccable. The riad is extremely close to the taxi drop-off point for the Medina, I believe it is the closest riad from the parking lot at the top of the hill. The local kids that hang out in the Medina were kind and pointed us in the right direction when we got to the bottom of the stairs (unlike in other cities where they purposely send you in the wrong direction). Michelle also gladly arranged a very early taxi for us to get home. Lovely stay and hope we get to come back! — Laura & Kyle
