What people mention
A warm and welcoming restaurant in the heart of the medina with vibrant, colorful décor and genuine Moroccan hospitality. The turkey brochettes with fruit salad are a great way to start, followed by consistently well-prepared chicken tagines and refreshing fresh juices. A place that easily invites repeat visits and stands out as one of the more memorable dining experiences in the medina.
Really good food, lot of space inside. Nice staff, speaking English. Payment with cards possible. Really pleasant evening.
Came in Morocco for the first time and our riad host recommended chez hakim to eat in an authentic place at a very reasonable price (definitely not the price used for tourist in general), we went to the place 2 days in a row to try different dishes and I was really happy with the flavours, seasoning, service and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it!
A lovely quirky restaurant with different ambience in the different sections inside. No terrace. The food was beautifully presented and plenty of it. I had the royal salad and the patisserie dessert. The salad was enough for two and has every type of thing in it you could think of, including prawns and cheese and egg. The patisseries were the type you get in the souks and very nice.
The ingredients used are very fresh and of great quality. My wife and I visited Chez Hakim for dinner and lunch over two days because the food was excellent and scrumptious and the staff were friendly and hospitable. My wife loved the mixed salad and beef skewers, while I enjoyed the chicken couscous and kefta tagine. The aadis (lentil stew) and loubia (white bean stew) were extremely appetising with the khob (bread. The pickled olives were also amazingly tasty. 10 out of 10!
