We received a very warm welcome from the owner, who is also the chef, and it made the experience even more special. Let me tell you: it was absolutely worth the wait. The octopus was the best I've ever eaten in my life, cooked to perfection: tender, flavorful, and simply outstanding. It was served with rice and vegetables, which were also delicious and perfectly prepared. If you're in Essaouira, this place is an absolute must-visit, but remember to make a reservation.

We had the most incredible experience here! The octopus was honestly the best we’ve ever had perfectly cooked and full of flavor. What made the visit even more special was the owner, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely taken care of and completely at ease. If you’re visiting Essaouira, this place is an absolute must-stop.

Great seafood with a limited menu and limited seating - it is best to swing by earlier to try to reserve a table for later. The fish i had (believe it was red snapper) was prepared perfectly. Never had fish so meaty with a nice bite. Octopus is good too but I've had more tender octopus in Europe. There may only be 2 options available to order from.

The owner is sooo nice and very friendly. We showed up the and he was all booked that night but got us in for the following night. Only way to book is to go and speak with him. No menu, just octopus and whatever else he wants to make you. Food was delicious and incredibly priced. This is a must go!

Visited for dinner today, and had the absolutely delicious grilled octopus, with some very nice olives and vegetables. It’s a small restaurant all run by one very kind person, the service is fantastic. I’ve had plenty of octopus in many different places - and this is easily my favourite!
