Where to start !? This was so far one of the greatest experiences we've had through our travels in Morocco. From the reception down to every detail in this beautiful hostel , everything was remarkable. The place itself is an absolute work of art, every single piece of furniture and decoration is carefully selected. The entire house is a mashup of the owners journey through her life. We were happy to make memories in her memories. So if you're looking for a place to stay, a little somewhere that feels like home not just a room with walls this is The place to go.

I've realized it was a hostel, but renting a separate room, was expecting a certain level of comfort. There was none. It's an eclectic place for people not worried about comfort, cleanliness or smells in an authentic part of the Medina. I've added a star for the artsy decor.

I had a wonderful time at Bayt Alice. Although I only stayed for one night they were super welcoming and helpful. Their rooftop is nice and you have access to a simple kitchen with tea and coffee. The only reason for 4 dtars is that I had an upper bed and it was very close to the ceiling which was a little scary but it didn’t bother me otherwise.

One of the best hostels in Morocco and by far the best place to stay in Tangier in my opinion. I have visited Bayt Alice three times. I always feel at home. Nadi (the manager) is an amazing kind-hearted person. Always present and willing to assist, recommend restaurants, activities, shops... making your stay special and as pleasant as possible. The place is spacious and neat. The rooftop has a one million dollar worth view. I love it. I have met backpackers, couples, groups of friends and even retired people in Bayt Alice. It's located in a quiet street in a safe and beautiful neighborhood of the Kasbah. I highly recommend Bayt Alice. Enjoy your time in Tangier!

My favorite place to stay in Tangier so far! I spent 2 nights at Bayt Alice and it was an amazing experience mostly thanks to its very welcoming host Nadi. Nadi is a very kind person who thrives to give his guests the most pleasant experience and makes their stay feel like home. The house is very well located at the heart of the Kasbah of Tangier. It’s beautiful, neat and spacious with several cozy spaces where guests can meet and hang out. The rooms are comfy and very clean as well. The rooftop is really amazing, has several spaces to hang out and a breathtaking view on Tangier and its bay. If you are looking for warmth and authenticity, then Bayt Alice is the right place for you!

Location of Bayt Alice is in tiny little empty street but it is very close to the main medina square. Hostel is large has a terrace with an amazing view and sitting space. Owner was friendly and open to discuss issues about the hostel. However, room smelled of mould and pipes, to which the owner said it's normal in Riads and I totally do not agree. Also one bed was very uncomfortable and there was so much noise during the night. I booked on hostelworld and stayed two nights in May not a liar I don't have free time to give and I have stay proof. It is shameful to accuse clients of lies well it's you.

BED BUGS!! STAY AWAY!! Great location and beautiful decorations/terrace on the roof. The mixed dorm had sturdy bunks and decent mattresses. However, several of us staying found bed bugs our second night, and one of the guests was bitten considerably. We found blood on several of the sheets and pillows and several bugs, yet the owner refused to believe us or acknowledge the guest was bitten, and was incredulous and rude when we asked for a refund, which she refused. Unfortunate ending to an otherwise nice stay.

with no idea what to expect when traveling to morocco we book a flight and hotel the day before in Spain we chose this place for the location and the taxi option form the airport. just before boarding are flight we had not heard anything back form the email we had sent with flight info but once we cleared customs we where met by taxi driver who had been sent by the lady of the house to pick us up. we had a private room which was large with private bath the roof top terrace was a great spot and we where welcomed with tea and other beverages the lady of the house was great host we really enjoyed are stay, breakfast was served every morning and many other delicious food options where just a few minutes walk
