Tangier Kasbah Hostel

I had a great stay at this hostel! Honestly, for the price, it’s a really good deal. The location is great, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. While the panoramic view isn’t 10/10, it’s still nice and adds to the charm of the place. I would definitely recommend it to travelers looking for a budget-friendly and chill place to stay.

Cosy little hostel with an amazing sense of community. Sturdy and comfy beds in the dorms, great terrace view, and a breakfast that is even more varied than at most places. The best part, though, is Ayoub- the manager of the hostel. He makes everyone feel welcome from the start. On the same night he arranged a shared barbacue with all of the guests, my friend became sick (unrelated to the food!). So at midnight, Ayoub left his dinner to come with us to the hospital. He stayed with us until he knew my friend was okay, and let my friend relax upstairs with him when we returned in the middle of the night. Ayoub went above and beyond to help us in a difficult time. I could not have chosen a better place to stay in Tangier.

A very pleasant setting, on the third floor overlooking the plaza, with a view of the Atlantic Ocean and houses of all kinds. And let's not forget Ayoub, who is very, very friendly, attentive, and helpful to guests. Thank you to him! I highly recommend the Kasbah Hostel, it's so cool! I'll be back.

We stayed here for a few nights during the week, and it was absolutely amazing. Youness welcomed us warmly and took the time to show us around, making our experience even more special. We also booked a day trip to Chefchaouen, the Blue Pearl of Morocco—a destination that is truly not to be missed. The rooftop terrace offers extraordinary views, making it the perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of Tangier.

I had a great stay at the Kasbah Hostel! Youness, the manager, is extremely kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The hostel is a beautiful traditional house in the kasbah, full of charm and character. The rooftop terrace is lovely — a perfect spot to enjoy some tea and connect with other guests. A warm and friendly atmosphere that I highly recommend!

I stay at this hostel everytime I travel in Morocco, a few times each year and I have had the time of my life here over the years! Very happy memories all of them :) As with any hostel its best to book before online rather than turn up in the night as it's good to be expected, as is the times we live in and pay in Moroccan dirhams which you can find in nearby exchanges and atm's. Great views from the terrace and very sunny in summer 🌞

This was a wonderful place to stay for my first time in Tangier. Great location in the Medina and close to the Kasbah, and beautiful view on the rooftop terrace. Rooms were nice and hosts were very helpful in guiding me for the best experience for my brief stay. Tangier is a fantastic city and I will definitely choose this hostel when I return!
