If your travels take you to Tortona you won't go far wrong by stopping here for a decent meal 😊 …

I'm referring to the TERRIBLE hotel!! ...a place I don't recommend...the bedroom wasn't clean, it smelled bad, and they don't have on-site parking.

  • ★★★★★★★★★★Matteo Perduca

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the tables are well-spaced, and the welcome is warm. Giuseppe talks about the dishes and the cuisine, but above all, about the wines and the winemakers. He knows the producers personally; they're friends. Delicious dishes made with quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. The meat is cooked to perfection, rare!

  • ★★★★★★★★★★Frediano Biasion

A refined venue, tastefully decorated, blending modern and classic. Unfortunately, the location doesn't live up to its reputation, and I think the downside is the somewhat high prices for the area. However, I have no complaints about the dishes: tempting options and unique pairings leave a lasting impression. The service is excellent, and you're pampered from the aperitif on, followed by a selection of breads and breadsticks that accompany the entire meal, right through to dessert. A wide selection of wines.

Historic restaurant. I've always remembered it. A truly beautiful place, with original furnishings and spacious dining rooms. The cuisine is traditional and delicious. The tables offer plenty of space, ensuring comfort. The wine list is truly interesting, and, as is fitting, showcases the excellent local labels. The dishes made with Montebore, the typical Tortona cheese, are a must-try.

Recommended for lunch. Outdoor seating is available in an internal courtyard. Convenient parking is available in the square directly in front of the restaurant.

A very elegant restaurant, a lovely setting, with stunning brick vaults and soft background music. The staff is friendly and very professional. The dishes are meticulously selected, prepared, and presented. The wine is also excellent, a 2015 San Martino Nebbiolo. The quality/price ratio is fair. I recommend, for an appetizer: Mazara red prawns, celeriac, and mandarin; for a first course: potato gnocchi with prawns, Bronte pistachios, and a hint of citrus; for a second course: Fassona Piemontese Chateaubriand with melted potatoes and spiced mayonnaise; for dessert: mascarpone and walnut cream, cat's tongues, pomegranate limpid, and dried fruit.
