Our experience at this Riad was disappointing. It was difficult to find, and we had to ask a local vendor for directions. Upon arrival, we waited at the door, unsure of how to get in until someone finally let us inside. Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired—dust was everywhere, and the common eating area had crumbs on the seats. The room itself had several issues. The washroom door didn’t lock and didn’t even align properly, so it remained slightly open. The faucet leaked constantly, leaving the sink area wet. The room was poorly insulated, which we expected, but the heating system was strange—while the upper part of the room became extremely hot, the lower part remained uncomfortably cold. Breakfast was just average, nothing special. Overall, this is far from a 4-star hotel. It’s not family-friendly and might appeal only to those looking for a very rustic, old-world experience.

I haven't even been here for 24 hours and I never do this, but my experience thus far has been beyond amazing. Something about the riad is very majestic. It's like a chill oasis in the middle of the bustling old medina. it has charm, character, is clean, comfortable and so nice! The people who work here are so incredibly kind and helpful - a special shout out to Mohammed aka Simo who has made me especially feel at home and so well taken care of. this place is a gem! ♡

The staff and owner were indiscreet and rude. Zero privacy! They asked for payment every day. In advance. Very expensive for the service and accommodations. Terrible breakfast. Unfriendly waitress, not at all friendly! The owner was even worse! He demanded payment for the hours after check-in. Absolutely not recommended. In fact, it was empty!

Positive: + Very friendly, flexible, and helpful staff (use of the refrigerator, provision of wine glasses, etc.) + Very nice riad with a courtyard and roof terrace + Very clean + Plenty of power outlets thanks to power strips + Excellent Wi-Fi reception + Great amenities (lockable sinks, good water pressure in the shower) Negative: - No door to the bathroom, only a curtain. This is particularly inconvenient for the toilet. - No shower screen and a walk-in shower. Unfortunately, this means the entire bathroom gets flooded when showering. - Ground floor room without air conditioning. Even with the windows open, you could see in from the courtyard, and it was still very stuffy. - Breakfast was rather mediocre (even after a two-week tour of Morocco ;-)) - Parking is about a 10-minute walk away and requires payment.
