Food was really good. Worth the price.

The kitchen at this restaurant is outstanding. Every dish we ordered was delicious, beautifully prepared, and exceeded our expectations. Up until the moment we received the bill, everything about our experience was excellent. The problem arose when it was time to pay. I added a tip that I felt was fair and appropriate, especially considering the size of our bill. However, the waiter became visibly irritated, repeatedly pointing at the receipt and insisting that a 10% tip was “required.” When I politely asked where this requirement was stated, he processed the payment and walked away with a very unhappy attitude. It’s unfortunate because we genuinely enjoyed the food and would have happily returned in the future. Unfortunately, this interaction completely changed our impression of the restaurant. It’s a perfect example of how one negative service experience can undermine an otherwise excellent dining experience.

Wow what a gem 💎 Came here for my wife’s birthday and was not disappointed. Greeted by a lovely waiter youssef, they have a cracking waiter there 😃. Ordered our wine, a bottle of red and a bottle of rose, both Moroccan 🇲🇦 😃Then to our surprise a selection of hors d’oeuvres came. Didn’t have a starter and was just as well. I had a 400g fillet steak cooked to perfection. My wife had salted sea bass again perfectly cooked. It didn’t come quick and there was a wait but they explained and brought anchovies while we waited. They didn’t have to as we are prepared to wait for good food.Thank you La Scala for such an amazing experience. We will be back 😃👍

Almost 800 MAD for a single-person meal. As a tourist, I don’t mind paying higher prices as long as the food meets a good standard. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Each dish was mediocre at best, and the steak was particularly disappointing, and the photo speaks for itself. Overall, it was a letdown from a food quality perspective. To make matters worse, indoor smoking is allowed in this enclosed space, resulting in a combination of second-hand smoke and an already unpleasant dining experience. Overall, a disappointing visit. I would not return. Not to forget the filthy toilet that definitely needs more frequent cleaning.

The grilled dorado was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were still crisp. The restaurant has a European feel to it. They served wine by the glass, which is a big plus for someone travelling alone. And even by the glass, the wine was very good. One minor flaw: although there weren’t many guests at the time, the food was lukewarm.

I would have given this place higher star rating (the food was good), if they had more control on the overall atmosphere inside. I understand that it's legal in Morocco to smoke indoors, but they should provide facilities for those non-smokers to enjoy a dinner as well, especially when with a baby. We asked to sit away from the cigarettes, and we're moved to a table closer to the kitchen. From that point onward we were rarely served, and we had to stand up and call for the waiters every time we needed something. The food was really good, but the overall atmosphere should be improved.
