Le Slimana Restaurant & Rooftop

A local friend pointed us to this spot and it was one of those recommendations you’re genuinely grateful for. It is located in the heart of the medina, the rooftop is beautiful and the food offers a modern take on Moroccan flavours that feels fresh without losing its roots. A word of practical advice: if you have a 7pm reservation on a hot July evening, the heat eases and the experience transforms around 8pm. Amine looked after us wonderfully. He was attentive, warm, and exactly the kind of host who elevates an already good meal into a memorable evening. The kind of service that reminds you why dining out is about more than the food on the plate.

We had lunch on the rooftop, a very pleasant space in the shade. The service was excellent with staff attentive, friendly and professional. The magic tapas and slow-cooked lamb tagine were delightful, amazingly fresh and tasty, we could we feel the dedication of the chef to offer a unique gourmet experience, congratulations. Every ingredient was carefully selected and the dishes were created with a twist and as a compliment to Moroccan cuisine by a passionate chef. A memorable experience for our taste buds.

Hidden gem in the medina! Many choices to sit inside or on the patio. They offered the ladies blankets on the rooftop when the det sets if it gets cold. Wide selection of drinks available. Constant attentive check ups. The creme brule is really good. Loved the variety of breads as well. Definitely recommend.

Lovely authentic Moroccan food, starters were absolutely amazing!! Also, gorgeous Pistachio & Rose Creme Brulee. Staff and service excellent, reasonably priced too. We absolutely loved it! Would definitely eat here again if we were staying longer.

I love small, creative dishes that taste amazing. I really like the beautiful presentation the colors and plating feel like art and reflect Morocco. The food was delicious, The drinks were amazing. The staff are friendly, warm very attentive. Highly recommend! I will definitely come back again!
