Lagon Energy excursion

The hotel has a cool, laid back atmosphere. Rooms are nice bungalows with the bare minimum. Forget about tv and Internet (only available in the communal area/reception), you're here to relax and take on the lagoon view. The food is nice. There is enough variety to find at least something you'll enjoy. There's no swimming pool but the hotel is close to the lagoon so you won't need it. One thing that bothered me though was the dj at night. The atmosphere during dinnertime (8pm to 10pm) was do nice and chill and suddenly it changes to electro...other than that, nice experience!

Excellent atmosphere, ambiance and decor throughout the complex. Very clean rooms, cleaned every day. A great place to chill & ride. Great healthy food served at relaxed times (8.30-10.30, 12.30-15.30, 20.30-10.30) Vegetables grown onsite in the desert garden! Excellent helpful hotel staff. Cool beach bar open in the afternoons until early evening with music, sometimes a DJ. No swimming pool, but lots of places to sunbath. Good WiFi available in the social areas, but doesn't quite reach our bungalow, we had a bungalow far away. Ion centre on site, some really great helpful guy's work there, but some lazy and not as helpful as they could be. Lessons available, kit hire available (kite, wing, windsurf) Shallow, flat water, sandy beach, no need for shoes! Provides an excellent, safe place to learn & improve. The wind is alway on! Group downwind trips available to the sweet spot. Sadly there are two new hotels being built next door which will likely add 200 more kites to the sailing area, probably making it too crowded for us to return. If it wasn't for that we would 100% return.

Having stayed at the hotel since 2022, I've experienced a huge change in services due to a staff reduction of approximately 50%. The hotel manager has also changed, prioritizing profitability despite the hotel's otherwise good operations! This is truly unfortunate.

From location to staff to experience, everything is amazing here! The hotel is located in what feels like an oasis in the middle of the desert. The staff and owners are super helpful and hospitable, both in the hotel and at the kiteschool. The food each day is amazing with a lot of the vegetables coming from their own garden. Wonderful experience, will definitely be back!

Perfect stay at a perfect place, including amazing food - also for vegetarians. The best hotel-time-out we had since long. The staff is very friendly, hands-on and motivated and the hotel offers everything you need for a great vacation. Even if you are not a watersport-adict.

Amazing lodge, friendly staff, great food and perfect if you wish to kite and disconnect completely. Can’t wait to be back.

A very good stay at Lagon Energy. The rooms are small and a bit basic, but that's not why you come. It's clean and the bedding is comfortable. The bathroom could be nicer and more comfortable. The location is superb, the view of the lagoon is a big part of that. There are plenty of places to sit and relax. Unfortunately, whether at the restaurant, the bar, or the beach bar, the service is lacking. The tables aren't cleaned, they're sticky, glasses are only rarely cleared, and ashtrays aren't emptied. And when it rains, which is rare, nobody bothers to clean and dry everything. What a shame! The food is generally good, and the buffets are varied and fresh. Unfortunately, the service needs improvement once again. You have to ask for restocking, and it's difficult to get bowls, spoons, etc. I enjoyed an excellent massage from Fatima at the spa; I highly recommend it! Saving the best for last, the watersports center is fantastic, with very high-quality and well-maintained equipment. Rachid was a great instructor—very patient, a great teacher, very pleasant, and always smiling! Thank you!
