La Baguette Douce : Boulangerie, Pâtisserie & Traiteur

What can I say… I just hope there's a decent bakery in Benguerir. This one (La Baguette Douce) is best avoided.

One star, because unfortunately, it's not possible to give less. Their pastries disappoint me every time I try them. Each time I decide to give them another chance, I find cakes that are clearly stale and of poor quality, several days old judging by their dry texture and off-flavor, yet offered at the same price as those from much better bakeries in Rabat or Marrakech. I don't know if it's because they're located near the university that they can afford to mislead their customers by inflating the price compared to the quality, or simply because they're taking advantage of the lack of competition in the area. In any case, it's truly shameful to serve cakes in such a state. If it were up to me, I would keep only the bakery (just bread and baguettes, because even the pastries are really disappointing) and eliminate the pastry section altogether.

The cakes are awful. The prices are outrageous, and the quality is terrible. Akfass pastry shop in Benguerir is truly a 0/10.
