I had a wonderful dining experience at Dar El Medina! The ambiance is truly beautiful, offering a refined and traditional atmosphere that makes for a perfect evening out. The food was flavorful and well-presented, paired with attentive and professional service. It is a fantastic spot if you are looking for authentic quality and a welcoming environment. Highly recommend! Highlight: The tajines were exceptional. Amenities: Very clean facilities and comfortable seating.

Fabulous restaurant, delicious food, nice and quiet atmosphere, very relaxing. It is on Medina, but on alley,,it's a walk off, if you don't google, you will miss it,, it is not visible from the Medina walking street. We enjoyed beef (shank)) with plum, and chicken lemonata with homemade fresh fries.ç If you are around here, you must try Friday restaurant.

First things first is the service here is excellent. Such a lovely waitress attended us all evening. She was one of the highlights of the night. Secondly the atmosphere here is wonderful. The restaurant is in the center of the Madina and I assume it’s a converted riad with authentic finishings. There was a live band playing traditional morrocan music and they paused when the call to prayer played and it was so amazing to hear it echoing around the restaurant as we ate. A very special experience I won’t forget. The food was a bit hit and miss. We had the menu for 155 durham and the starter selection with bread was fine. I’ve had better in Rabat. We ordered one portion of the meat skewer which was mediocre at best, really genuinely not good, like something you would get at a beach bar. BUT the chicken tajine was PHENOMENAL. It was quite surprising the difference in quality between these two dishes. I think anyone who has said the food was bad or overrated in the other reviews didn’t order the tajine. It was genuinely really really delicious. The prices are definitely more expensive than some of the restaurants in Rabat. I think this place might be a bit more catered towards “upmarket tourists”. If you want to dine somewhere with a very special vibe I would recommend here. I think if you’re overall looking for the best food you could probably find better food more for locals. Overall I’m glad we came here but I wouldn’t come again as I think you can find better food for cheaper, but I think it’s definitely somewhere worth visiting if you’re looking for a special atmospheric dining experience and if you want a genuinely exceptional tajine.

Service friendly and attentive but the menu is very limited and the main dishes were horribly bland. Mountains of bland couscous and steamed vegetables with a couple of chicken legs in the middle. Lemon and ginger drink was just blended lemons and ginger - not very nice to drink. Only tourists dining and very quiet - imagine there are many more better priced and more authentic restaurants in the Medina.

Great experience, went here with a big group and we were all completely full by the end of our meal. Service was quick as well. Would recommend.

Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rabat! We were first introduced to it on an organized food tour and had a wonderful lunch. We returned later in our trip for dinner and had another great experience. During dinner they had live music which really made it an experience.

A hidden gem! Really flavorful food and good portion size as well.. Highly recommend. 155 MAD per menu per person.
