Chouwaya Tinzert

This place was recommended to us, and we were able to eat meat that we had bought there. They no longer served tagines. A typical local spot.

They don't know how to cook kefta properly... The kefta was served raw... I asked them to cook it again. It came back still raw (see photos).

We found it based on reviews. There's a large selection of meat for cooking in the butcher's shop, which is part of the cafe. You pay for the meat you choose first, then separately for its preparation. We paid about 50 dirhams for the meat (lamb and sausages), and 30 dirhams for the preparation, tea, one salad, and one bread. Everything was delicious! Another great thing: if you're in a hurry, buy a shawarma for 10 dirhams (1 euro)—it's incredibly tasty. Everything was delicious!

Great Tamazight atmosphere. Just too hot, but it's Taroudant... a gentle heat. The problem is the flies, there are too many.

Very nice restaurant and butcher shop. Good tagine and efficient, friendly waiter. I recommend it.

Choose your meat in the butcher and let them grill it for you. Together with Salad, homemade bread and tea..... it´s perfect experience.
